Jetta Group’s 25th anniversary evening party was ceremoniously held on Jan. 22nd in Guangzhou. The government officials of Guangzhou, directors of relating management departments and many customers were present at the party. Wong Tit Shing, chairman of Jetta had given a welcome speech. Kong Shaoqiong, who is administrative committeeman of municipal committee of the Communist Party, had also made an ebullient speech and highly praised the toy maker’s excellent performance throughout 25 years as well as the its contribution to the career of social commonweal.
Kong said 25 years ago, Jetta was a small factory with only 25 employees. But now it has been a big toy manufacturer that owns 6 factories, 35,000 employees and 3-billion HKD production value each year. It has become one of the biggest enterprises with foreign capital in Guangzhou. In last year’s America recalls, none of Jetta’s toys was involved and on the contrary, its orders increased by 10%. Wu Yi, the vice premier of State Department and Li Changjiang, the director general of AQSIQ visited Jetta and had high recognition on what they have achieved. Throughout these 25 years, Jetta donated to build middle and elementary schools as well as hospitals and contributed a lot to the economic development and welfare work of Guangzhou.
At the evening party, it is known that, Wong had led his staff to make great efforts and work hard and the second project of their Panyu factory site, which is 125,000 square meters workshop was completed and recently. The construction of new factory in Conghua is finishing. Jetta has done very well in the establishment of environment protection system and set a “green” example for other enterprises.
