Germany Sees Higher Price for Toys Next Year

     Affected by China’s status, after this year’s Christmas, price of German toys would soar up around 10 per cent, said A German website on November 8th, quoting the news released by DVSI (German Toy Industry Association).

     BVS (Federal Toy Retailers Association) notes that, toy price during the Christmas holiday will maintain in a stable level. But when it comes to 2008, there will be a rise undoubtedly.

     Personnel from DVSI also indicates after frequent recalls of toys made in China, lots of dealers would focus more on quality of products, instead of low cost. As a whole, they trend to purchase products with reliable quality. Price of products made locally will also be raised by more than 5 per cent. █
