Stationery coming with toy function might be priced higher than common ones. In Weifang, Shandong, this kind of products are warmly received by primary school pupils.
In a super market situated at Shengli Street W., a great number of stationery goods are endowed with playing value. A pencil box made into a shape of automobile, eraser with outlook of panda, pencil bag with head of Ultraman and notebook with Mickey Mouse on its cover…you can see all stationery can be played as toys.
A common pencil box in ￥5 yuan might be priced as high as ￥19.9, while a pen knife in cartoon style can be sold three or four times than original one. Sales staff in the super market said that, though toy-style stationery is expensive than common one, its sales is five or even six times than the latter. |
