| Approaches of Ministry of Commerce to Secure Toy Quality |

In order to secure quality and safety of toys, Ministry of Commerce is to coordinate with related departments in carrying out three works, said Wang Xinpei, speaker for Ministry of Commerce recently.
The three works include, according to Wang, urging industrial organization to enhance self-disciplined measure and industrial supervision, promoting training for companies in various regions and improving quality management of exporters, as well as strengthening international cooperation and industrial communication and propelling global standards. Wang added that, most of toys made in China are produced fully in accordance with importers’ requirement on design, technique and quality standard and processing trade makers up 58 percent of all. A small number of toys are found to have problems. However, this results from not only quality control, but also management of importers and dealers. Meanwhile, business fraud might exist. |
