Read Intensively Law on Employment Contract before Its Implementation

There are still several months to come before the implementation of Law of The People’s Republic of China on Employment Contracts. Companies are expected to use this time to standardize and perfect interior administration.

To be actualized from January 1st next year, Law of The People’s Republic of China on Employment Contracts would act as an important role for perfecting employment contract, defining rights and duty, and developing harmonious labor relationship.

In China, toy manufacture has always been known as world factory. With labor intensive industrial structure, the appeal to legal protection for equality between employers and employees appears to be in a critical position in the coming law on employment contract. During the transition, I hold that, companies should pay attention to the following points, including checking or setting up rules that suitable for companies themselves, publicizing the rule, laying down pattern and term of contract and agreeing upon contents in addition to essential terms.

For smooth implementation of the latest law, companies should seize the opportunity in transition to read intensively the new law and seek advice from legal experts. Harmonious employment relationship is expected to shape up. It brings the two sides together to get out from current difficulty in “employing” and “being employed”. While proving best service and products, greatest economic profit would be archived. All is ready for the global competition of toy industry.
