Toys R Us has opened its fifth outlet in the United Arab Emirates - with the chain hoping that the 45,000 sq ft store will become the main attraction for children from across the region.
The branch opened on July 5th at Dubai Festival City (DFC) and includes the usual mix of traditional toys, learning materials and games, plus interactive features and entertainment facilities.
Wayne Cohen, general manager for TRU in the UAE, added: "The store's range of toys, games, equipment, even baby products is among the best and the largest anywhere - not just this region. The high tech interactive features that have been introduced into this store will dazzle, entertain and educate visitors of all ages." He indicated that, the store will strictly restrict the sales of unsafe products. Moreover, the DFC will not consider importing Asian toys that had once warmed by EU and had no good repute, Cohen hinted. |
